About the event

We are always trying new things, tweaking things, and trying again (or not!) in an effort to improve our systems. Let's find out what we can learn from each other that we can apply to the year ahead.  Please join us to share ideas over food and drink.

Each producer (that wants to) will be asked to take a few minutes and share the answers to the following questions:

  • What is a new practice/tool/strategy that you tried this year? This can be around soil health, water conservation, infrastructure improvements for efficiency, staffing, marketing, etc. Whatever you would like to share/would like to know how it's worked for others.
  • Did you utilize any additional funding or financial support to take this step? (i.e. BoCo Sustainable Ag Fund, NRCS EQIP, STAR program, etc.)
  • How did it go? What did you learn? What will you do differently next year?

*Don't feel like you have to prepare too much. This is just a somewhat formalized conversation to exchange ideas with free dinner and beverages at the end!

All crops, animals, and styles of production are welcome and encouraged! No farm or operation is too small or too big!

This event is held in conjunction with Growing Gardens, The Citizen Science Soil Health Project, and the Longmont and Boulder Valley Conservation Districts.  Farmers, ranchers, workers, and ag professionals are encouraged to attend.
