Support Our Work

Support sustainable agriculture in Boulder County

Our coalition exists to bring people together to support the local food economy. We all have a role to play in transforming our agriculture system, whether it’s through growing, eating, or funding. Your support actively keeps our programming going, and we value your continued engagement in all forms with our coalition.

As a local 501(c)3, your donation directly helps support a regenerative and local future of agriculture.

Any donation made here for operational expenses will be matched, thanks to a generous local donor!

* Note: Unless noted in a written agreement between the donor and our leadership board that donations are to be used for an explicit and pre-determined use, donations received will be used at the complete discretion of the board to include coverage of programmatic costs, operational expenses, etc. Allocations of funds can be made available to the public upon request.

If you care about local food and supporting farmers, you're in the right place.

Boulder County, Colorado has a very active agricultural community. Yet, as the average age of farm owners in our county exceeds 60 years old and continues to rise on an annual basis, it is pertinent that the next generation of producers is provided with the resources, advocacy, education, and community networks necessary to successfully start their own viable agribusiness and steward our lands.

FFC exists to do just that.

We constantly seek to improve our relationship with the local community, offering support to people who want to support or work in agriculture. Our organization:

  1. Provides educational resources and workshops for beginning and experienced growers to learn from each other

  2. Advocates for local, state, and national policies to promote a sustainable future for agriculture and support the next generation of farmers

  3. Creates inspiring connections within the agriculture community through social events that encourage informal networking

  4. Creates a resilient local food system to nourish our community in a changing climate
