About the event
Please join us for a season extension workshop with Wild Wellspring Farm. We will be talking about their cover cropping / crimp / transplant system, planting dates, when/how they protect the plants for season extension (with info on materials and how to make low tunnels) and how to manage storage crops. This workshop will cover what you need to implement a season extension / winter CSA on your own plots. We will also have a follow up tour with Wild Wellspring in the fall to see all of their operations in full swing. We hope you can join us for both!
This event is held in conjunction with GoFarm and will be in-person and capped at 15 attendees. Current and aspiring producers are encouraged to attend.
