About the event

The Flatirons Farmer's Coalition invites you to a panel involving folks from the community who have transitioned to being a farm business owner after having worked on a farm or in another industry prior. If you are interested in starting your own farm, this will be a goldmine of knowledge from people who have successfully started and run their own operations.

You'll come away with different perspectives and ideas, and gain a deeper understanding of what you need to consider in order to start their own farm. This workshop will be inspiring and informative.

This workshop will be hosted as a panel with organized questions followed by an audience Q&A and mingling so that attendees can get deeper into specific topics or scenarios that are more personalized.

Refreshments will be provided!

Tickets are pay-what-you-can, starting at $5 per person.

Some questions that we will address are ask are:

  • How did you decide the kind of farm you wanted to start?

  • What partnerships were necessary for your success?

  • How did you go about accessing land and markets?

  • What were some of the largest hurdles?

  • And more!

Please reach out to flatironsfarmers@gmail.com if cost is a barrier.
