About the event

Kickoff the 2026 local agriculture season with a community potluck and clothing/gear swap!

All are welcome to join us at Yellow Barn Farm for an evening of community and circularity. Our potlucks are a great way to meet new people, catch up with friends, and get inspired by the growth that is taking place in our FFC community!

For the potluck:

  • Please bring a dish or drinks to share.

  • Please bring your own serving utensil and a label for your contributed dish with information about dietary preference (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, etc.) and label any common allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame)

    • We will have pen/paper available to label items at the event if needed!

  • Instead of bringing food/drink, you are welcome to contribute to the food fund any amount

For the clothing/gear swap:

  • You can bring a maximum of 10 items

  • Bring farm/garden gear, clothes, footwear, farm/garden tools, etc.

  • All items must be in good condition

    • Please note: If you have items that are in good condition but need light mending (e.g. patch, small hole sewn up, etc.), you are welcome to bring these and our Community Chair will mend them and use for another event.

  • Any items leftover will be donated after the event
