About the event
Let's Talk Grain: Building Local Grain Resilience
This panel brings together farmers and local grain enthusiasts to explore the challenges and opportunities of building a robust local grain system — from funding sources like CGC Microgrants to the relationships, infrastructure, and investment needed for long-term viability. We'll dig into key barriers (market access, equipment, space, existing contracts, etc.) and discuss how to plan for a resilient, adaptable future amid uncertainty
Small bites from local businesses and producers will be provided by FFC with food and drinks also available for purchase at Dry Land Distillers.
Panelists:
Nels Wroe, Dry Land Distillers
Lisa Boldt, Colorado Grain Chain
Eric Skoken, Black Cat Farms
Laura Allard, MASA Seed Foundation
