About the event

This is a follow-up to our previous event: Employment Boot Camp: How to Hire & Pay. You can register for both, or either.  Use this registration to attend the event virtually via Zoom.

Both working and employing people in agriculture are challenging jobs. As farm employers, we are responsible in large part for inspiring and educating the next group of farmers who will steward the land — how can we learn to be great at that? And how can we, as farm employees, help our farms be not only profitable but meaningful and joyful places to work?

This facilitated roundtable will provoke discussion among our panel of farm employers, managers, and workers about what it means to work and employ people in the challenging field of agriculture. How can we be better employers, better workers, and better teammates? How can we make work easier and more enjoyable for each other? How can we build strong relationships on our farms, and healthy farming workplaces?

Panelists will be asked to address anonymous questions from attendees. You can provide your questions to the panelists at resgistration.
