About the event

What did you learn this season? Did you try something new? How'd it go? Come share your experiences and learn from others.

We're hosting a space for all those actively working in agriculture to come together and learn from each other. We'll have an introduction and ice breaker, then we will split into smaller groups (plants, animals, and mixed systems).  Farmers, ranchers, ag workers, and ag professionals may attend this event.

Discussion topics will include:

- What is a new practice/tool/strategy that you tried this year?  This can be around soil health, water conservation, infrastructure improvements for efficiency, staffing, marketing, etc.  Whatever you would like to share/would like to know how it's worked for others.

- Did you utilize any additional funding or financial support to take this step?  (i.e. BoCo Sustainable Ag Fund, NRCS EQIP, STAR program, etc.)

- How did it go? What did you learn? What would you do differently next year?

Don't feel like you have to prepare too much.  This is just a somewhat formalized conversation to exchange ideas! Admission to this event includes a dinner and beverages at the end.

Since this event has an attendance cap and facilitates peer-to-peer learning, we ask only those actively working as (or directly working with) agricultural producers attend this event. With that being said, all crops, animals, and styles of production are welcome and encouraged!  No farm or agricultural operation is too small or too big!

Your donation-based ticket helps us cover the costs of food and venue space while we create an opportunity for you to network with and learn from others in your community. If cost is a barrier, please email flatironsfarmers@gmail.com
