About the event

The Farmer Forum is happening! This year we are partnering with several orgs in the community, and this year it is called the 2026 Drought Forum.

What a year we had on the water front! It's time to do a post mortem of the year we had and look to the future.

At this forum we will discuss how we can prepare for drought years to come, reflect on lessons learned in this difficult year, and synthesize the impacts the drought had on our operations and ourselves. There will also be a chance to connect with others in your same watershed and ditch community.

We will have folks with decades of experience in our local water community, those who are just beginning to learn the ropes, and everyone in between. It should be an excellent opportunity to learn from each other and understand how we can work together for when the next drought year comes around, be it next year or further down the road.

Dinner is Provided!

*Who is this for: Farm and Ranch Operators and Workers, Public Land Managers, Agricultural Water Professionals

  • It is essential that we have an opportunity to talk amongst our peers about this topic.
